…not gunna lie. I was expecting at least a little bit of “dancing tegan and sara”, less “preparing towels for the dancers tegan and sara”. Video seemed unoriginal. Song’s great…but you’d think they’d have them be a little more energetic, plus they’re barely in the video near the end. Overall disappointing.
This is EXACTLY how I felt, and I’ve never not been totally in love with everything they do. I don’t hate it, but gosh, sooo unoriginal and just boring. Especially since I saw preview shots. I literally felt like I saw the whole video from those 3 pictures, and thats a bad thing. But with that’s said I’m not hating on THEM, it’s not officially their song sort of, they didn’t direct, think of the concept, etc. I’m sure they felt awkward at point but they are always wonderfully good sports and they are allowed to have a few watered down pop status moments of their career (especially when its a video for a feature).
